Intensive English Courses
Course Outline
Intensive English classes focus on communicative
language skills for listening and speaking. They are designed to
increase your knowledge of vocabulary, idioms and grammar. These
classes provide you with lots of opportunities to talk with other
students. Also, the Intensive English course helps you to develop
your reading and writing skills.
This course is for students who want to make rapid progress. In
Intensive English you will study 20 hours a week. Classes are small
and there are lots of opportunities to participate.
Levels
Intensive English has six levels . If you study hard and work
with your teachers, it is possible for you to make good progress in
your studies. Remember rates of progress vary from person to person.

Entry requirements
There are no formal English requirements for entry into the Intensive English course.
However, it is advisable to learn some basic English expressions in order to make the
transition to classes easier. Anyway, you will need to be able to show us that you have
done 3 – 6 years of high school in your home country.
Skills Lessons
After lunch, classes focus on skills like listening and speaking
or grammar and writing. Your skills lessons might focus on grammar,
vocabulary, writing, listening, reading or speaking. If you are
interested in IELTS, it’s even possible to look at the skills needed
for IELTS; however, this depends on your level of English.
